Cyberlink Blu-ray testing tool tips up

See if you can handle it

CYBERLINK SAID its BD Advisor 2 tool helps users identify if their system is able to play advanced Blu-Ray Disc content such as interactive BD-Live features and Picture-in-Picture (PiP) movie commentary.
Friend of the INQ, Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink. said, "The BD Advisor is a free tool helping our users to check if their PCs are Blu-Ray ready. It has won many appreciations since its first release."

The tool scans and determines BD-ROM decoding capacity for disc reading, graphic card compatibility for high definition images displaying, and network capability for access of internet-connected features.

It provides system diagnostic result on support of basic and advance Blu-Ray Disc format allowing users to select their own system upgrades based on type of format desired.

To check if their PCs are WHAT?

Maybe you should try proof reading. Finish the fucking quote.

Forgot it....

I had a bad experience with Cyberlink PowerDVD 8. The interface looks nice, but I could never get it work with my BD setup. Both BD Advisor v1 sometimes tells me I am HDCP compliant, sometimes not. PowerDVD always refuses to run due to HDCP check. DVD playback and upscale work well though.

I switched to Corel WinDVD 9 and everything works fine.

Handy

Cool it also checks if you have your player properly blocked from accessing the net, make sure you fail that test and you are OK.
