Asus Eee PC S101 to go upscale

ASUS WILL LAUNCH yet another Eee PC netbook model in September, the Ultimate S101.
Unlike previous cheap-as-chips models, the company seems to be positioning the S101 as an ultraportable laptop, perhaps in the hope that it will compete with the likes of the Macbook Air.
The Asus Eee S101 will sport the same 10.2 inch screen as the PC 1000 models, and it will have a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor like the rest of the Eee PC netbook line, but the S101 will come in two variants with only SSD based data storage options, either 32GB or 64GB.
The Ultimate Eee PC S101 will also be significantly more expensive, with the 32GB SSD option priced at $699 or £350 and the 64GB SSD option to go for $899 or £450. That's a lot more than Asus is asking for its other Eee PC netbooks, which are offered from about half those price levels or less.
The price alone will make the S101 more of a designer netbook.
With the addition of the S101, the Asus Eee PC product family will grow to include at least 13 different models, raising the thought that Asus might risk confusing netbook customers. µ

Choice not confusion
The ultraportable-to-pocket PC segment is highly personal to the user. People have different sized pockets(!) and different requirements for what they want to do with the thing and how long the battery life and other competing factors should be.That means a one-size-fits-all solution does not exist and more models will allow people to effectively "customise" the machine to their liking.
I want truly pocket sized but with
a bigger screen, so perhaps it could roll out or fold out?If I could fit a laptop into my phone and have the screen fold out twice so it had 4 times the area, then this might be the gadget I want.
